Greetings in the name of our gracious and soon-coming King Y'shua.

A Constructive Path Forward for COGYOK: Leadership and Spiritual Renewal

The National Youth Organization of Kenya (COGYOK) is embarking on an important phase of growth with the inauguration of a new leadership team. After a successful three-year term, President Gathinji has transitioned leadership to Munyaka Gitau, who assumes the role of president, with Chaim Muchendu as his deputy. Under their guidance, and by the youth constitution, we can look forward to a renewed focus on growth, innovation, and unity over the next three years.

The COGYOK presidency is dedicated to empowering our members as we take actionable steps to bring light into a world filled with challenges. Strengthened by the Mighty Man of War, we are equipped to confront the fast-paced societal changes using strategies inspired by our faith.

As the world rallies to push its agendas, we feel called to unify in alignment with our purpose, as stated in Micah 6:8: "Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you, no more than to act justly, love grace, and walk in purity with your God."

With our youth's diverse strengths, talents, and unique gifts, we recognize the potential for Elohim to work through us in extraordinary ways.

Modeled after the Maccabean Revolt of 167-160 BCE, we prepare ourselves for the miracles that can arise when we stand firm against adversity and opposition to our beliefs.

While acknowledging our weaknesses, we draw strength from the assurance that "we do not have a Cohen gadol unable to empathize with our weaknesses." We will continue to seek the guidance and intercession of our Bishop, the clergy, and all organizations that form the body of Messiah.

As we strive to be ambassadors of light, love, and hope, we are committed to engaging more deeply with our mission, allowing the infinite word of Elohim to fill our finite spaces and reach those in need during these trying times.

Our spiritual year's theme encapsulates this vision: "Uniting COGYOK to conquer the world and please Hashem."
